Is NeuroSinc just binaural beats with better headphones?

No. Binaural beats are one of five layers. The other four — spatial immersion, sensory reinforcement, environmental shielding, physical resonance — each address a different pathway your brain uses to transition into sleep. The hardware enables the precision the whole system requires. Neither works as well without the other.

I've tried binaural beats before and felt nothing.

That's the most common thing we hear. In almost every case, it was a delivery problem — consumer earbuds, bluetooth compression, or audio that was streamed and compressed. When the signal is degraded, the entrainment effect doesn't happen. The experience with precision hardware and a properly encoded multimodal session is genuinely different.

Do I have to do anything during the session?
